FEARLESS

LIVING BOLD IN A FEARFULL WORLD LUKE 1:74 We have been Redeemed, and that includes from all fears. God expects us to be Fearless, Bold and Courageous in the face of all challenges, oppositions and threats. However many are still living in fear. So many dreams, visions and hopes have been dashed, crippled or unfulfilled because of fear.

Fear is not just an emotion, it’s a Spirit – A demonic and limiting spirit. Job 41:33 (AMP) A creature of God not made in God’s image like man is reputed to be a creature made “Without Fear, and acts Fearlessly”. How much more should we made in the image of God and redeemed by the Priceless, Precious blood of Jesus live, act and behave Fearlessly like our God? Job 39:22 (KJV, NIV, GNB & DRB)

Another creature of God (Horse) is said to be Fearless. It Mocks at Fear It Laughs at Fear It Despises Fear It does not know the meaning of Fear If such a creature of God not made in God’s image like man or redeemed by the blood can be so fearless, how much more should we redeemed, sanctified and justified believers be free from all fears and live boldly with audacity and ruggedity of faith in our redemptive right. Revelation 2:10 – tells us that as believers, we are to FEAR NOTHING, DISMISS OUR FEARS AND DREAD.

Its unfortunate that the voice of fear as been louder than the voice of God in the heart of many believers and church goers – this ought not to be so. Many have taken decisions based on fear and has bore dire consequences that God did not intend John 20:19 (AMP) But for the resurrection of Christ and His manifestation to the Apostles and disciples, the Gospel would have remained BEHIND CLOSED DOORS as a result of Fear!! John 7:13 (AMP) The Gospel would never be preached boldly, nor Christ proclaimed loudly where fear prevails. DIMENSIONS OF FEAR The Fear of God

• The fear of God is the most powerful, potent fear that we must have. It is positive and rewarding and he who Fears God has nothing or no one to Fear.

• The Fear of God is a reverential Awe, Honor & Respect for God

• It is the ONLY Fear permitted and required for a child of God.

• Job 28:28 – it is wisdom to fear God and foolishness not to.

• Psalm 25:14 – the Fear of God opens us to Divine Secrets and connects us to God’s covenant.

• Isaiah 8:11-13 – the Fear of God is instructed with a strong hand of God, in same manner as fearlessness for all others.

Natural Fear

• This is a fear we experience as a normal response to threat, danger and sudden challenges.

• It is something our body does and not our will and so we must respond to it appropriately.

• It is a result of the fall of man and it is experienced by all men with the outcomes determined by how we respond to it

• Psalm 56:3 – When, not If this fear comes, we are to respond by trusting in God and His love for us
  

Demonic Fear

• Next to the fear of God, demonic fear is a potent and powerful force that hinders destinies.

• It is crippling, limiting, frustrating and tormenting

• 2 Timothy 1:7 – it is not giving by God, but forced on men by the devil and its demons.

• Romans 8:15 (AMP) – it enslaves its captives and subjects them to a lifetime of limitation.
  

DANGER AND TRAGEDY OF FEAR

Fear has terrible consequences and tragedy that must be avoided by all means we shall be considering 7 of such

• Fear is a proof we are not free from the falling nature

• Genesis 3:10 – the first response of the fallen man is fear

• Matthew 28:10 – the first post-resurrection words of Christ to his disciples is Fear not

• Revelation 21:8 – a fearful fellow is likened to a sinner and will not enter Heaven

• Fear blurs your vision and gives you a false impression of something or someone

• Matthew 14:26 – fear made Christ disciples see him as a ghost

• Fear deprives you being used of God maximally

• Every of God’s Generals, men greatly used of God all conquered fear – David (let no man’s heart fail – 1 Samuel 17:32) Joshua (Joshua 1:6,7,9 & 6:13)

• Judges 7:3 – 22,000 armed soldiers sent back home because of fear

• There are always more fearful people than fearless people and this breaks the heart of God as He could not use fearful men much – Numbers 14:9

• Nehemiah 6:9-13 – be a Nehemiah who knows who he is and was confident and bold in who he is, saying “Should such a man as I flee?”

• Fear cripples the supernatural and hinders its flow and operation in a life filled with fear

• Acts 14:13 – God backs the bold with testimonies and witnesses via miracles Ephesians 6:19 the mysteries of God can only be commanded by the bold and fearless

• Mark 4:35-41 – fearlessness is same as being full of faith, while fear is being without faith, and without faith we cannot please God.

• \Fear will make you kill your Moses (your Moses represents what God wants to birth in you, your future, that which is to deliver you and bless you) fear will kill that Moses but fearlessness will preserve it. Hebrews 11:23

• Fear will make your Moses abandon his Purpose and trade it for something lesser – Hebrews 11:27

• Fear will subject a man to a lifetime and lifelong of bondage, torment and slavery – Hebrews 2:15, Romans 8:15, 1 John 4:18 Obey God’s express instruction, command and direction to be FEARLESS, BOLD and COURAGEOUS as you walk through life.
  

HOW TO BE FEARLESS God has not left us in the dark as to how to live a fearless life.

• Proverbs 28:1 – Be Righteous and you will be Bold (Note that our righteousness is of God through Christ, so be Born Again)

• Psalm 34:4, Acts 4:29 - Seek God in Prayer, and He will deliver you from all Fears either natural or demonic

• Romans 8:15b, Acts 4:31 – Be filled continually with the Holy Spirit. He is the Spirit of Might and Power (Isaiah 11:1-3, Micah 3:8)

Ephesians 3:8-12, Job 41:33-34 – God is the most feared, dreadful and awesome entity who can kill and throw into hell. His eyes are eyes of fire, His throne blazes with fire, yet He has given us BOLDNESS, ACCESS and CONFIDENCE into His presence, what or who else can we not be bold or confident before? What or who else can we be afraid of accessing through fear, when we have access through Christ to God? Beloved, Be Brave, Bold, Fearless and confident with who you are, knowing that the God of the universe created you in His Fearless image redeemed you and hides you in His Fearless Son and has filled you with His Spirit of Might, Love and Power. Stop allowing the voice of fear to drown the voice of God (Faith) in your Heart. Start speaking faith and not fear, Stop feeding fear and start growing Faith. Stop depriving God and the world of the possibilities and potentials you carry through fear. Finally, Job 41:33-34 (AMP) If no one dares to arouse the unmastered crocodile, who looks every beast of prey in the face without terror. If we have Boldness, Access and Confidence before God, the beast creator, who else and what else can we not have Boldness and Confidence before.
